We went here after being recommended by the local Az State Park Ranger. We were seated promptly and were brought tasty chips and salsa. We ordered lunch specials from the back page of the menu, a quesadilla, carne adada plate, chili relleno plate and a combo 3 with enchilada and tostada. Both the service and food were very very good! Good atmosphere. Highly recommend.
We sat outside on the patio because we had our dog. To get to the patio, we had to walk all the way around the building passing a dog that was tied up. Not ideal. However, the food was great. House margaritas were so good they disappeared. The salsa was thick and very tasty with a lot of onions. The mixed fajitas had almost a bbq sauce flavor to them.
Stopped in for Sunday breakfast, party of 4 sat immediately. Waitress was friendly and provided us with recommendations. The portions were large and tasted great. We had the green chile carne rice and beans, carne asada burrito, pollo a la crema and menudo.

Warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, the staff made us feel right at home, and that hospitality went a long way in making our visit memorable. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Each dish came out hot and well-prepared, with generous portions and great presentation. We especially appreciated the depth of seasoning and the freshness of the ingredients. The only small drawback for us was the tortillas. While the taste was fine, they tended to fall apart when we picked them up, which made enjoying tacos or handheld items a bit messy. That said, the overall experience was excellent and we would not hesitate to return. I don't personally think you can go wrong with any Mexican restaurant with "Casita" in it! I tried this pretty much blind luck. Now, this is Arizona, so they want to stick rice into burritos, so, ask for them not to and they will make it without. (Yes, I am a Californian) They are great people and genuinely want to make your experience the best. The inside is beautiful, but can be loud and echoes. Outside is wonderful as well and quieter. Great place! Will be back!
Stop by La Casita this morning coming back from Happy Jack and it was a quick google search for breakfast. This place definitely did not disappoint. We ordered the menudo (honeycomb) not tripe not a fan of honeycomb but it was good. We also ate the green chili and creamy chicken and the pollo deluxe burrito. The service was so good show out to these ladies for working so hard. Definitely stop by here for Mexican food.
Great spot for lunch! We really enjoyed the veggie fajitas that were vegetarian and gluten free with a spot on margarita! My dining partner had a chicken burrito that was pretty good too! We also could not get enough of the chips and salsa. The service and ambiance of dining outside were really nice too! Glad we stopped here on our road trip!
Happy new years, was craving menudo to cure the hangover and found this little gem 💎, it was served hot and it was delicious. My Girlfriend had chorizo and eggs and that was very good as well, the staff were very attentive and courteous, the decor is very beautiful nice looking like cantina, the restrooms were very clean, it was a block off the main road, but worth the search. When in Camp Verde AZ. Definitely give this little gem a try.
